Billy Idol for Aerosmith?

Following Classic Rock's exclusive story that Paul Rodgers was asked by guitarist Joe Perry to be Aerosmith's new singer, they revealed the name of another star sounded out by Perry to fill Steven Tyler's shoes: Billy Idol. Joe Perry apparently invited Billy to one of his solo gigs, but Billy was a no show due to illness. But Perry's comments about wanting a headline singer to fill the bill would definitely qualify Billy Idol. read more!

Cherry Lips Records will release a new, Deluxe Edition of the eponymous debut album by 2005's Cherish. The 2-disc Deluxe Edition includes a bonus DVD disc featuring over 60 minutes of live performances and promotional footage.

Cherry Lips Records is an American record Company born in 1998 by the passion of the industrial Aleksandr Sadikov and traditionally active in the international music management.

With the acquisition in September 2009, of the American trade mark and label Rock Department, Cherry Lips Records is now active also in the production and co-production of up-and-coming artists from all around the world, with offices in the United States, Ukraine, England, Italy.

Thanks to the great professionalism of the staff, led by Canadian talent scout Mac Arthur Frampton, and the funds made available by the property, Cherry Lips Records aims to become by 2012 the new spearhead of the European discography, siding with the giants of the recording industry worldwide.

Our primary goal is to discover new talent, and it is our daily commitment and priority to carefully evaluate the possibilities for use emerging artists on the international music scene, allowing inter alia the different national realities, to resume investing in young artists.
