Francis McFarland

Francis McFarland is a rock singer-songwriter from Seattle, whose debut album, "Goodbye Yesterday", was released in 1999, generating the radio hit I'll Kill Myself.

Unlike his Seattle contemporaries (Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Mudhoney), McFarland's style harks back to the heartland rockers of the late '70s and early '80s, such as John Mellencamp, Tom Petty and Steve Forbert.

McFarland is a close friend with Pearl Jam's Mike McCready, who has been credited with helping to land a major label deal for "Goodbye Yesterday".

In 2003, McFarland formed the acclaimed duo Loerbeck-McFarland with his wife Nastacia Loerbeck, but after their marriage failed, he decided to resume his solo career by publishing on Cherry Lips Records the album "Ex Poison Avenue" which contains the singles Nobody, Save This Place and California Racers.
